Executive Leadership
Sue Ann Painter, DNP, RN — Executive Director
Dr. Sue Ann Painter provides strategic leadership and regulatory oversight for nursing practice across West Virginia. With an extensive background in healthcare administration, executive nursing, and academia, Dr. Painter works directly with the Board, state leadership, and national regulatory bodies like the NCSBN to ensure public safety and nursing excellence.
Board of Directors
All board members are volunteers and are appointed for a term, however they may continue to serve after their official term ends until a replacement is appointed by the Governor.
